Amos is the father of the Speicher family, owner of Crackling Wick Candles as well as a construction business, Northwood Home Builders.
After threats were voiced about putting up chicken barns to keep his nine kids occupied and out of trouble, a Candle business sounded like the better option all the way around!
Amos is a loyal kind + consistent person. keeping tabs on the financial numbers is his contribution to our family owned company.
Meet the general manager
Shortly after our candle company started Kayla found herself employed and enjoying odd tacks a candle business requires, wicking jars, labelling and much more .
After living away for a few years and having an array of various careers under her belt she found herself back home with the knowledge and experience to operate Crackling Wick Candles.
She has learned and perfected her candle making skills and enjoys being of service to each of you.
And now she is thrilled to stock our candles in various stores across the USA.
Meet the social media manager
Corina has been employed at Crackling Wick candles since the beginning in 2013, and has filled many positions including wholesale manager.
Corina has always enjoyed creating and designing which she most definitely inherited from her mama, "Ive always enjoyed making, creating, and interior design. content creating, and website design has given me that creative outlet.
Corina is currently employed as a secretary at a daycare center in PA, but still continues to keep one foot inside the business by managing all our social media platforms + website design.

At Crackling Wick Candles, we believe a candle should do more than simply scent a room, it should create warmth, comfort, and meaningful memories. Based in Middleburg, Pennsylvania, our family-owned company was founded in 2013 by Grace alongside her five daughter. What began as a small, self-taught passion has grown into a dedicated candle business built on creativity, hard work, and heart.
Over the years, we have continued to grow while staying true to our mission; crafting hight-quality home fragrance products that bring coziness and joy into every home. From our candle shop to thousands of hand-poured candles produced each year, every product reflects our commitment to quality and care.
Despite the changes and challenges that come with running a small business, our passion for creating welcoming, comforting products has remained the same. we love knowing our candles can help families relax, celebrate special moments, and reconnect with cherished memories through scent.
Our goal is simple; to brighten the lives of others by offering premium candles at an affordable price.

OUR PRODUCTS
Our candles are made with soy wax derived from soybeans, offering a more eco-friendly and sustainable alternative to traditional paraffin wax candles. Soy wax also provides a cleaner burn and longer-lasting fragrance experience.
Each product is carefully wicked, hand-poured, labeled, and packaged with attention to detail to ensure exceptional quality from start to finish.
CANDLE CARE
For best results when lighting for the first time, allow the wax to melt to the sides of the jar, ideally for 2-4 hours to allow a full melt pool to form. This should ensure further consistent burns, to avoid tunnelling + candles waste.
The maximum recommended burn time is 3-4 hours per burn.
Always trim wick by pinching off the burnt end before each burn.
It is recommended to cease burning when 5mm of wax is left in the vessel. The remaining wax could be used in an oil burner to avoid waste.
